Guns are generally designed for large surf, usually in the 10'+ to 20' range...., however, more recently, you've probably noticed an bunch of old farts riding them in your daily surf session, well under the large surf benchmark. Guns  are typically over 9' to about 11', 19" to 22" wide, 3"+ in thickness, and streamlined for speed. Usually a 2 + 1 or thruster set up with a running vee bottom is typical. A few have ventured into the inverted vee and double concave bottom designs with some positive feedback....
